PRINTING SERVICE

Making high quality, colour-rich fine art prints is our bread and butter at Bad Art Prints - and we’re really good at it! We’re proud to have one of the very best 12 colour printers on the market at our Coburg studio, and we know you’ll love the final product as much as we do.

The table below is a breakdown of our costs per standard paper size. We’re more than happy to do a custom order if you need a size that’s not listed, just let us know! We can print up to 1190x4000mm.

FILE SETUP AND PREPARATION

We know that setting up your artwork files for printing can be a bit intimidating at first, but don’t panic! We’re a wiz on the computer (if we do say so ourselves) and we’re here to help.

  • Basic File Preparation

    We’ll happily resize your artwork, add borders if you’d like them, straighten and crop to make your perfect print - $5 per file. 

    If after a few revisions you decide you need a few more final tweaks (we’re perfectionists too, we totally get it), hourly rates apply at $50 an hour.

  • Complex File Preparation and Retouching

    If your artwork needs a bit more TLC, this one’s for you. This service includes cleaning up any marks, scratches, brush marks or texture you don’t love to get you a final product you DO love. Hourly rate is $50 an hour.

  • Want to do it yourself? Here’s what you need for a print ready file:

    • Your artwork sent to us as a flattened PSD, TIFF, JPG, or PNG 
    • RGB colourspace
    • Your artwork at the size you’d like it printed (for example, an A5 print is 14.8cm x 21cm)
    • Your file resolution at 300dpi
    • Rename your artwork to follow these guidelines: YourName_ArtworkName_FileSize

ORDER COLLECTION AND PICKUPS

Print collection is by appointment only. You can find us at Studio 47, School House Studios in Coburg, Melbourne. Available times will be shared with you via email when your prints are ready for pick up, along with the address and a phone number in case you get lost along the way!
